Men's Basketball Signs Ethan Bergantino

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Men's Basketball Head Coach Bobby Kennen announced the signing of Ethan Bergantino, a 6-3 guard from Calvary Christian High School, on Thursday.
After he returned from a season-ending ACL injury suffered in February 2025, Bergantino averaged 11.9 points, 5.6 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.9 steals in 23 games in his senior season in 2025-26.
Bergantino was named 2025-26 District 3A-14 Player of the Year by both the Florida Dairy Farmers and the Florida Athletic Coaches Association and selected a 2025-26 Pinellas Private School Conference All-Conference Second Team.
Bergantino joins a high school class of Isaiah Brown (Stranahan High School, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Christopher Perry (Bradwell Institute, Hinesville, Ga.) and Asa Kohn (Hagerty High School, Oviedo, Fla.) and transfer additions of Ayuba Bryant Jr. (Temple, Antwerp, Belgium), Eddie Placer (Wagner, Orlando, Fla.), Elijah Elliott (Ohio, Orlando, Fla.) and Hedrens "Jr" Bartelus (Chipola College, Lake Worth, Fla.).
