Men's Basketball Announces 2026-27 Schedule

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Men's Basketball Head Coach Bobby Kennen finalized the 2026-27 schedule with the addition of the non-conference slate on Wednesday.
North Florida battles six programs, five in non-conference action, that competed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament – California Baptist, Georgia, Miami (FL), Queens (NC), Texas A&M, UCLA.
North Florida will square off with crosstown rival Jacksonville in the River City Rumble on the road on Jan. 23 and at home on Feb. 20. North Florida is a part of a restructured eight-team ASUN Conference with Bellarmine, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, Queens (NC), Stetson and West Florida.
North Florida hosts eight non-conference games and seven conference games for 15 total home games inside UNF Arena.
North Florida welcomes University of Virgin Islands for an open exhibition on Oct. 28.
North Florida opens its season with a three-game road trip against NCAA Tournament programs over a six-day stretch at California Baptist on Nov. 3, at UCLA on Nov. 6 and at Miami (FL) on Nov. 9.
North Florida returns home to celebrate Homecoming against The Citadel on Nov. 14, which marks the first of five-straight home games. North Florida completes the homestand against University of Fort Lauderdale on Nov. 17, Arkansas Little Rock on Nov. 21, Central Arkansas on Nov. 23 and Warner on Nov. 25.
Arkansas Little Rock and Central Arkansas will be the first two of five UNISUN Crossover games for North Florida.
North Florida travels for a quick road battle at Columbia on Nov. 28 before it welcomes South Dakota on Dec. 3 and Florida Polytech University on Dec. 5 North Florida completes the home-and-home season series at South Dakota on Dec. 12.
North Florida hosts Charleston Southern on Dec. 16 before it closes out the non-conference slate with five-straight road games at UT Arlington on Dec.19, Texas A&M on Dec. 21, Georgia on Dec. 29, Abilene Christian on Dec. 31 and Tarleton State on Jan. 2.
UT Arlington, Abilene Christian and Tarleton State complete the five UNISUN Crossover games between the ASUN and UAC.
The ASUN announced the 14-game conference schedule for North Florida on July 16. North Florida battles each of the other seven ASUN programs twice in its conference slate. The entire conference schedule for North Florida will have an even home-road split and follow a Thursday and Saturday format.
The conference schedule opens on Thursday, Jan. 7 and runs through Saturday, Feb. 27. The 2027 ASUN Tournament will be held at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena on March 4-7 in Jacksonville, Fla.
North Florida opens conference action when it hosts Bellarmine on Jan. 7 and Lipscomb on Jan. 9. North Florida then travels to new conference member West Florida on Jan. 14 and 2026 ASUN Tournament Champion Queens (NC) on Jan. 16.
North Florida welcomes Stetson on Jan. 28 and Florida Gulf Coast on Jan. 30, before it hits the road to Lipscomb on Feb. 4 and Bellarmine on Feb. 6.
