“Good weekend for the entire team,” said North Florida head coach Scott Schroeder. “Joey (Petronio) had a solid tournament and we also got a bunch of other real solid play. We played two great rounds and if we would have had a more solid second round it could have been a great tournament. We are definitely looking forward to playing at Isleworth in a couple weeks because it is always a great field. We need to get prepared.”
No. 4 ranked Georgia led wire-to-wire in winning the team championship by 14 strokes with a score of 848. No. 15 Georgia Tech finished second at 862 followed by UNF, Chattanooga (867), No. 35 Virginia Tech (867), Mercer (872), Augusta State (876), No. 40 Oklahoma (878), No. 46 Colorado State (882), Kansas (886), Georgia State (887), Princeton (887), College of Charleston (891), South Florida (894) and Air Force (904).
