Basketball Ends Road Trip at Stetson

DELAND, Fla. – The North Florida basketball team closes its brief two-game road swing Monday at 4:15 p.m. against Atlantic Sun Conference rival Stetson in the Edmunds Center.
The Ospreys (9-8, 3-1 ASun) look to claim their third straight win and fourth victory in the last five after a thrilling come-from-behind rally at FGCU on Saturday night. Stetson comes in at 6-9 (3-2 A-Sun) following a win over Jacksonville in their last outing.
Monday's game marks the 14th all-time meeting between UNF and Stetson on the hardwood. The Hatters own a 9-3 lead in the series but the Ospreys have won four of the last six match-ups including wins in each of their last three visits to Edmunds Center.
Parker Smith leads a trio of UNF players in double digits averaging 12.1 points per game. Smith has scored double digits in four straight games including back-to-back 20+ outings. Jerron Granberry, coming off a season-high 21 point performance at FGCU, follows at 10.4 ppg with Andy Diaz scoring 10.2 ppg. Travis Wallace, who averages 9.8 ppg, tops the squad in rebounding with 5.4 boards a game.
UNF continues to hit on all cylinders offensively, topping the 80-point mark in four of their last five outings.
