NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Despite four players in double-digits, the University of North Florida women's basketball team closed out a four-game road stretch with a 73-64 loss at Lipscomb on Saturday at Allen Arena.

Jadhken Kerr led UNF (8-14, 5-6 Atlantic Sun) with 15 points, while Destinee Smith and Brittany Kirkland each recorded 12. Raneisha Lamar tallied 10 points and also pulled down a team-best nine rebounds.

Anna Bowers led a quartet of Lipscomb (5-17, 3-8 Atlantic Sun) players to double figures in scoring. Bowers tallied 15 points and Morgan Faulkner had 13. Sasha Robinson and Hannah Phillips recorded 12 and 11 points, respectively. Phillips and O'Neisha Smith each had a team-best six rebounds.

Lipscomb outshot the Ospreys 45.8 percent (22-for-48) to 40.7 percent (24-for-59), but UNF dominated the glass 41-27.

UNF contended with a hot-shooting Lady Bison team that was 51.9 percent and 14-for-27 from the field. Lipscomb went up by as many eight as a Bowers' layup put the Lady Bison up 16-8 at 13:09. A 10-4 run by the Ospreys allowed UNF to come to within two with a layup by Lamar made it 20-18 in favor of Lipscomb at 8:29. UNF eventually came to within one with Destinee Smith's jumper at 1:59, but Lipscomb ended the half with a 7-2 run to take a 38-32 lead into halftime.

The Ospreys opened the second half with a 7-0 run and took a 39-38 lead with a Kerr three at 17:27. However, Lipscomb responded with a 15-1 run to go up 53-40 at 8:13. The Lady Bison ultimately went up by 16. UNF eventually cut Lipscomb's lead down to a seven-point with another Kerr three at 15 seconds.

UNF returns to UNF Arena for its next game as the Ospreys host Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday at 7 p.m.
