
Basketball Tips Off Road Swing at Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. – The North Florida basketball team tips off a three-game road swing Saturday against Auburn in Auburn Arena at 7 p.m. (CST).
The Ospreys (5-5) look to bounce back after a tough loss last weekend at Kansas State. UNF seeks its first road win of the season while Auburn (5-1) seeks its sixth straight home win of the year.
Saturday's game marks the first ever meeting between UNF and AU on the hardwood. It will be UNF's third game this season versus an SEC opponent with the Ospreys having already played at Alabama and Florida. The Tigers will be hosting their second Atlantic Sun Conference foe after meeting Kennesaw State earlier this season.
North Florida is 0-5 all-time versus teams from the SEC.
Parker Smith leads a trio of double-digit scorers for UNF averaging 10.8 points per game, followed by Jerron Granberry (10.7 ppg) and Andy Diaz (10.4 ppg). Diaz also leads the team in rebounding pulling down 5.6 boards a contest.
