
UNF Sits Tied For Third After Two Rounds of USF Invitational

Dale tied for ninth heading into final round
The Ospreys shot a second round 1-over-par (289) and are 1-under (575) after two rounds at the par-72, 7,226-yard North Course. UNF trails
The third and final round is on Sunday beginning at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start.
Sophomore Sean Dale shot a second round 74 and sits at 2-under (142), tied for 9th in the tournament, nine strokes behind Florida Southern's Matt Stauch. Stauch shot 7-under in round two and is at 11-under after two rounds.
Freshman Kevin Phelan had the best round of the day for the Ospreys, firing a 2-under 70, to move into a tie for 19th at 144 (74-70). Senior J.C. Horne also shot under par for the day with a 1-under 71 and is tied for 12th at 143 (72-71) heading into the final round.
Sophomore Kevin Aylwin is tied for 42nd with a two round 148 (+4, 72-76) and sophomore Joe Byun is at +5, tied for 53rd, with a 149 (75-74).

“We played pretty poor today,” said UNF head coach Scott Schroeder. “The good news is we still have a chance to win the tournament. We need to get off to a fast start. The first two days we made too many silly mistakes. If we clean up our play tomorrow we have a chance to win.”
