
Ospreys Beat Dartmouth, Fall to FAMU

Junior outfielder Stephany Hall made the most of her first start of the season in left field being credited with two RBI in the top of the fourth that helped extend UNF's lead over Dartmouth to three (3-0). With two-outs and senior Kara Rutnebar on third base and sophomore Amanda Moseley on second, Hall delivered a a crucial base hit dampening any come back attempt by the Big Green.
Sophomore Shaina Dent tossed 2.1 innings, before being relieved by senior Devyn Findley in the top of the third inning. Combined both pitchers gave up no runs, three hits and 11 strikeouts. Findley struck out the second and third outs in the fifth and then followed the seventh with a one-two-three inning, striking out the side.
In the second game FAMU brought with them some of the momentum from their 7-3 win against
Findley brought the first run of the game across in the fourth with a base hit that she was able to bring junior Caroline Torre in for the score. In the same inning, sophomore Britanie Block got a base hit to continue her seven game hitting streak, one game shy of Torre's eight game streak - the longest this season.
After sophomore Ariana Godwin's fifth inning score on an illegal pitch by Rattler Jennifer Lindsey, FAMU went to the bullpen bringing in Amanda Reyes who finished the game with a save in her 2 2/3 innings pitched.
