Sophomore guard Brittany Kirkland scored 14 of her game-high 22 points in the first half. Freshman forward Jadhken Kerr notched a career-high 17 points while draining a career-high five 3-pointers, four of which came in the second half. The two teams went back and forth in the opening minutes of the first half and were tied at 14 with 10:46 on the clock before UNF went on an 8-2 run to take a 22-16 lead with 6:41 left to play. Lipscomb scored on its next possession, cutting the margin to four, but the Ospreys closed out the half outscoring the Bisons, 12-6, taking a 34-22 lead into the break.
The Ospreys continued their run into the second half, taking a 24 point lead (48-24) just five minutes into the second half. Lipscomb would get no closer than 15 (62-47) with 3:46 remaining in the game, but the Ospreys cruised to the win, closing out the game with an 8-1 run.
