
Ospreys Set to Face Crosstown Rival JU in Annual River City Rumble Battle

The game is sold out, but can be viewed on Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS) or online at ASun.tv. Monday's game is a doubleheader with the UNF men's team that tips at 8 p.m. That game can also be viewed on ASun.tv or CSS, or heard on 1320 WBOB.
“This is a huge in town rivalry,” said head coach Mary Tappmeyer. “JU has been able to get the better of us in the series. We need to come out and play a great game in order to begin to even up the series. We have to come out and build on what we were able to do against Lipscomb in our last game.”
UNF (5-12, 2-6 A-Sun) is led by sophomore guard Brittany Kirkland with 14.2 points per game, while dishing out 4.1 assists per game. Junior guard Juliemay Syquio and freshman forward Jadhken Kerr are both averaging eight points per game. Senior forward Arlande Cherizol is pulling down a team best 7.5 rebounds per game.

Following the JU game, the Ospreys remain at home to face USC Upstate on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 5:30 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader with the men's team who tips at 7:45 p.m.
Single-game tickets for basketball games are $10 for adults and $8 for youth 17-and-under and senior citizens 55-and-older. One ticket will admit you to both the 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. games on Thursday. Children 2-and-under and any current UNF student with a valid Osprey1 Card are admitted free.
