UNF Softball Announces Fall Schedule

The Ospreys will open their first of seven home games at the UNF Softball Complex

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-The University of North Florida softball team has released its fall 2009 schedule of exhibition games.

The Ospreys will open their first of seven home games at the UNF Softball Complex with a doubleheader against the Florida Southern Mocs on Sept. 26 at 1 p.m.

UNF will also play a pair versus Florida State College at Jacksonville on Sept. 27 and Santa Fe Community College on Oct. 11. Both doubleheaders will be held at 1 p.m.

The softball team will also challenge its alumni on Oct. 17 at noon. Any alumni planning to attend the game should R.S.V.P. to assistant coach Janice Savage at j.savage@unf.edu.

These games will help prepare the Ospreys for their first year eligible to compete in postseason play.

The softball team is holding tryouts Sept. 8-10.
