LADY OSPREY SOFTBALL WEEKLY

Road tests loom for UNF
After getting a little time off this week thanks to a rainout, the
UNF (18-20, 5-5 A-Sun) comes into the week in fifth place in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings, two spots ahead of Upstate and three in front of JU.
The Lady Ospreys went a combined 2-2 against the teams last season, sweeping a doubleheader at home against JU while falling in a pair of games to USC Upstate at home.
Saturday's matchup will feature one of the best pitching duels of the year when Devyn Findley – the newly crowned career strikeout leader at UNF – squares off against the Spartans' Morgan Childers. Findley and Childers were both named preseason all-conference selections and are battling it out for the league lead in strikeouts this season.
UNF is looking to get back among the top ranks of the A-Sun after losing three of four in conference play last weekend. JU, on the other hand, captured its first three wins in the A-Sun last weekend while the Spartans swept a doubleheader at Stetson.
