The Lady Ospreys (12-14, 7-6 A-Sun) will try to cool down a red hot Kennesaw State (15-11, 10-4 A-Sun) squad, which captured a win at Jacksonville on Saturday, knocking the Dolphins out of a tie for first place with an overtime win.
UNF is looking to follow up a win of its own on Saturday and close out home play with a 9-7 mark. The Lady Ospreys tied a season-high in conference play with 63 points against Mercer, downing the Bears 63-55. Jennifer Bowen scored 21 points in the win, hitting all 10 of her attempts from the free throw line. Shennette Sheffield followed her with 17 points and helped the Lady Ospreys outrebound Mercer 36-27.
Although Monday might be the last home game of the season for UNF – the day that traditionally honors seniors playing their final home game – the Lady Ospreys will not have anyone to honor on Monday night. UNF's roster does not contain a senior this season.
