SUNTRUST RIVER CITY RUMBLE:

Ospreys, Dolphins play downtown at 7:30 p.m.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida men's basketball team will try to carry its momentum from a non-conference win over Savannah State on Tuesday night into its Friday matchup with cross-town rival Jacksonville on Friday night at Veterans Memorial Arena downtown.
The Ospreys lost to JU 58-32 earlier this season at UNF Arena and will attempt to snap a three-game win streak by the Dolphins in the series. The game will be televised regionally on CSS-TV as part of the "A-Sun Game of the Week" package.
UNF battled through a wave of sickness on the team Tuesday night to post the win over Savannah State - which snapped a 20-game losing streak dating to November. Freshman DeVon Jones and junior Tom Hammonds displayed flu-like symptoms prior to the game, and Jones able to play just 14 minutes as a result.
Both players will be back at full strength on Friday night, as will Stan Januska, who missed the first UNF- JU meeting while sitting out due to being assessed a pair of technical fouls in the Ospreys' prior contest. Januska is second on the team, averaging 9.5 points per game.
