The University of North Florida women's basketball team will try to even its record for the third time this season and stay in the thick of the Atlantic Sun Conference race when it hosts Campbell on Saturday.
UNF (9-10, 4-3 A-Sun) comes into the weekend tied for fifth in the conference standings and only one game out of third. They will take on a Campbell (8-12, 3-4 A-Sun) squad that is hot on its heels, only one game behind on the A-Sun standings. The Lady Ospreys have a chance to shape the conference standings not only against Campbell this week, but also when they take on Gardner-Webb – which is 4-3 in league play – on Monday.
First things first for UNF is trying to extend its two-game winning streak against Campbell. The Lady Ospreys swept the season series with the Camels last year after being swept the year before.
This is the only meeting between the teams this season.
UNF is allowing opponents only 45.5 points a game at UNF Arena this season while holding them to a .226 shooting percentage beyond the 3-point arc.
Campbell on the other hand hasn't spent much time on the road this season, playing six road games. The Camels are 2-4 in those contests and 1-1 in league play on the road.
Campbell has won three of its last five games after enduring a season-long five-game losing streak.

Who's Hot: For the third time this season UNF held an opponent to less than 40 points in a 48-37 win against USC Upstate on Monday night ... Brittany Jones followed up her career-high 10 points at ETSU with six points off the bench against USC Upstate.
Quoting Coach Tappmeyer: “Campbell is a very good team with an excellent post player. They have some young guards, but they can present some matchup problems for us. They have more experience in the frontcourt than we do.”
Gameday Notables: Jennifer Bowen is only three points away from 500 in her career … UNF is 5-2 in its history on Groundhog day, winning its last four contests on Feb. 2 ... UNF has won by an average of 20.5 points on its last two Groundhog Day outings, hitting 15 shots beyond the 3-point arc in a win against Georgia College & State in 2005 before giving up a season-low 42 points against Gardner-Webb in 2006 … a $100 cash prize will be awarded to the most spirited group at the game and a lucky student will have the chance to make a halfcourt shot at intermission for $230.
