The Ospreys came close several times in the game, recording five shots on goal. Frank Dinzey led the Ospreys with two shots on goal, while Akil DeFreitas had four total shots.
The Ospreys (4-6, 3-2 Atlantic Sun Conference) came close to ending it in the first overtime when DeFreitas jetted out on a breakaway and had a clear shot at the goal, but pressure on his heels from the defense and a stellar save by Stetson's Evan White prevented UNF from coming away with the win.
The Hatters (7-3, 3-1) outshot UNF 17-13 while the Ospreys led in corner kicks 4-3.
UNF will return to action at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Hodges Stadium against Florida Gulf Coast. The game will be after the women's soccer game against FGCU. Both games will be shown live on ASun.TV.
