JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Men's Soccer fell at Florida Atlantic, 2-0, at FAU Soccer Stadium on Thursday.

Junior forward Kaiss Mansouri notched a pair of first half shots, which included a shot on goal in the 24th minute. Fifth year midfielder Ugo Bertelli made his North Florida debut and recorded a shot in the initial 45 minutes.

The score remained tied at the half after fifth year goalkeeper Iu Pentinat recorded a crucial save in the late minutes before the break. Iu Pentinat earned his sixth career start in goal.

Senior forward Geraldo Neto added a shot on goal in the 63rd minute. Neto was awarded a penalty kick in the 78th minute, but was unable to convert to keep the margin at its eventual final.

Florida Atlantic added a pair of goals in the 57th and 64th minute.

Sophomore midfielders Omar Trto and Cameron Gray each earned their first collegiate starts.

17 Ospreys saw action and junior defender Rafa Rios, Gray, senior midfielder Anton Khelil, senior defender Mikhail Keise all logged the full 90 minutes. Junior defender Milan Ales made his North Florida debut.

North Florida will remain on the road in Tampa, Fla. to battle South Florida at Corbett Stadium on Sept. 1. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
