Sand Volleyball Bio2014 (senior): Started in all 31 matches… appeared in 121 sets… tallied 231 kills and 100.0 total blocks… second on the team in blocks and third in total kills… finished career with 216 block assists, ranking ninth among UNF’s career leaders… recorded at least one block in 30 matches, including six matches with at least 5.0 blocks… notched a season-best 9.0 blocks against Florida Atlantic (Sept. 5), which tied for third among UNF’s three-set match leaders… her 9.0 blocks against Florida Atlantic were the most in the Atlantic Sun for a three-set match… had eight matches with 10+ kills, including a season-best 15 kills in back-to-back matches against Kennesaw State (Oct. 17) and USC Upstate (Oct. 18)… hit over .400 twice… recorded a season-best .500 hitting percentage against Stetson (Nov. 15)…notched a season-best five digs at Stetson (Oct. 4)… served four aces against South Carolina (Sept. 13).
2013 (junior): Had a breakout campaign that saw her emerge as one of UNF’s top blockers and add to the Osprey offense… played in all 30 matches, making 28 starts… appeared in 111 of the Ospreys’ 113 sets played… tied a UNF three-set match record for blocks with 11 at Mercer (Oct. 4), tying Lauren Clement’s mark that stood since Nov. 2, 1991… her 11 blocks is a UNF three-match rally-scoring era record… also broke into the Top 5 single match records for blocks in four-set and five-set matches… made nine blocks during a four-set match at Georgia (Sept. 13), which is tied for fifth… tallied nine blocks during a five-set match at Stetson (Sept. 20), becoming the second Osprey of the season to have nine blocks in a five-set match during the season… named Atlantic Sun Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 7 after tallying 17.0 total blocks during a road trip to Mercer (11.0, Oct. 4) and Kennesaw State (6.0, Oct. 5)… added 10 kills to go along with 11 blocks at Mercer for first career double-double… maded five or more blocks in 11 matches… notched double-digit kills in eight matches, including a season-high 16 at Northern Kentucky (Oct. 26)… hit over .400 in six matches... hit .583 with seven kills off 12 attempts and no errors at Jacksonville (Nov. 1)… served a career-high three aces at USC Upstate (Nov. 16).
2012 (sophomore): Appeared in 22 sets and 13 matches… recorded two blocks and a season-best nine kills against North Carolina A&T (Sept. 15) at the Winthrop Classic… tallied seven kills at Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 11), while hitting .556 for the match… recorded five kills and a season-high three blocks against Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 16).
2011 (redshirt freshman): Played in 14 matches (47 sets) for the Ospreys while battling some nagging injuries... finished year with 91 kills and ranked fourth on team in kills per set at 1.94... collected 23 blocks on the season to go along with 28 digs... posted career-best match against UNC Wilmington finishing with 17 kills and six digs... tallied personal best four blocks against Stetson and hit a career high .778 in a road match with the Hatters.
2010 (freshman): Redshirted her true freshman season at UNF
High School: Set a Saint Edwards High School career kill record with 797 after notching 320 during her senior season... posted 387 digs during her four years... earned First Team All-Area honors following junior season and All-Treasure Coast First Team following senior campaign... during senior year had 24 kills against crosstown rival Vero Beach.
Personal: Majoring in communication... daughter of Scott and Chris McGuire... has a brother, James, and a sister, Paige... competes in the offseason in stand up paddleboarding.
