Biography

2014 (junior): Part of UNF’s defensive line… played in 24 matches, starting against Coastal Carolina (Sept. 6)… appeared in 70 sets… tallied 104 digs… had at least eight digs in four matches… recorded a career-high 20 digs against USC Upstate (Oct. 18), helping the Ospreys to 110 digs for the match overall... picked to represent the Atlantic Sun Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) at the NCAA Leadership Forum in Orlando Apr. 9-12, 2015.
 
2013 (sophomore): Added to UNF’s defensive depth… appeared in all 30 matches and played in 102 sets… made five starts as a defensive specialist… also saw time as the libero… tallied double-digit digs three times… had a standout match against Stetson (Nov. 5), tallying a career-high 18 digs and a career-high eight assists… made 16 digs in the five-set thriller with Florida Atlantic (Sept. 6)… notched 13 digs at Mercer (Oct. 4)… served two-or-more aces three times, including a career-high three against Northern Kentucky (Sept. 27).
 
2012 (freshman): Only true freshman on UNF’s roster... appeared in 14 sets in 10 matches after missing the first part of the season due to injury… added depth to UNF’s defensive line… tallied a career-high eight digs in UNF’s 3-0 sweep of USC Upstate (Nov. 10)… recorded five digs in collegiate debut against Stetson (Oct. 2)… dug two balls in UNF’s 3-2 upset of top-seeded Florida Gulf Coast (Nov. 16) in the Atlantic Sun Tournament… Atlantic Sun All-Academic
 
High School: Three-year letterwinning libero at Victor High School... helped guide Blue Devils to 2009 NYS State Championship... named Section V Libero of the Year in three consecutive seasons (2009-11)... played club volleyball for VolleyFX... club team claimed 2009 Regional Championship... honor student in the classroom.
 
Personal: Majoring in health science... daughter of Freeman and Anne Fessler... has one brother, Andrew, and two sisters, Jessica and Lauren... sister, Jessica plays collegiate volleyball at MIT and brother played collegiately at Stevens Institute of Technology.
