Hayley Edwards was added to Head Coach Ian Coffey's staff in August of 2015. She comes to North Florida after a decorated swim career at Villanova University.

Since graduating Villanova with a degree in Sociology in 2013, Edwards has served as a full-time head coach at the Greater Philadelphia Aquatic Club and is a Certified USA Swimming Level Two Coach.

As a member of the Wildcat Swim team she won four Big East Conference Individual Championship Titles (Three in 1650 & one in 500 Free). She qualified for three NCAA Championship Meets and was named the team's MVP all four years at Villanova. She emerged as the team captain as a senior and followed up with the team's fastest times in six different events.

She currently holds school records in the 1000 Freestyle, 1650 Freestyle, 200 Butterfly, 200 Medley Relay and 800 Freestyle Relay. Edwards qualified for the USA Swimming Olympic Trials in 2012 after helping the Wildcats to a fifth place finish at the Big East Championships. She was a four-time All-Big East Conference selection and garnered Academic All-America honors from the NCAA her junior year.

Edwards graduated from Villanova with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice. She originally hails from Pilesgrove, N.J. where she attended Woodstown High School. At Woodstown she was a New Jersey State Champion in the 200 Free and a three-time area Swimmer of the Year.
