UNF Responsibilities: Serves as the athletic trainer for the Osprey baseball team and works with the cheer squad... Also serves as insurance coordinator for student-athlete medical claims and is a clinical instructor for athletic training students assigned to UNF.
Experience: Graduated from UNF in May 2000 with a bachelor's degree in Health - Sports Medicine/Athletic Track . . . while an undergrad at UNF, internship sites included Jacksonville University (men's soccer, football), Heartland Rehabilitation and UNF baseball . . . became Certified Athletic Trainer in February 2001 . . . worked as an athletic training intern with the Miami Dolphins during 2000 training camp . . . joined HealthSouth as a clinic/outreach athletic trainer in July 2001 . . . served as the athletic trainer for St. Joseph[apos]s Academy in St. Augustine from August 2001 through September 2003 . . . worked Jacksonville Jaguars training camp as an athletic training intern during 2002 and 2003 training camps . . . joined UNF in September 2003 as the assistant athletic trainer, and has served as the athletic trainer for the men's basketball, volleyball, cross country and track, cheerleading and dance teams.Â
Personal: Born on July 15, 1976 . . . native of Jacksonville . . . completed master's degree in human environmental sciences with an emphasis in sport management in December 2004 from the University of Alabama . . . married to the former Vanessa Hogan . . . has a son, Zachary, and two daughters, Â Annabelle and Teagan. . . member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association.
