Amber Fiser joined the Osprey staff as an assistant coach the summer of 2023 after serving as the graduate assistant for Missouri.
During her season year at North Florida, the team achieved new heights with the Ospreys finishing the season with their first ASUN regular season and tournament titles in program history. The team went on to finish the season with a 47-15 overall record and a 22-2 ASUN record winning every series, as well as every game in the conference tournament. After being selected to the Columbia (S.C.) Regional hosted by South Carolina in the NCAA Tournament, the Ospreys went on to beat second-seeded Virginia twice, including a walk-off win, to clinch the program's first-ever regional appearance as one of the final 32 teams in the postseason. She assisted Head Coach Jeff Conrad to his first-career ASUN Coach of the Year award in 2025.
Fiser helped develop two-way superstar Allison Benning from the circle, who was named ASUN Player, Pitcher and Scholar-Athlete of the Year, as well as a Second Team All-American by Softball America and D1Softball, CSC Second Team Academic All-American and Second Team NFCA All-Region. She also brought in the D1Softball Mid-Major Player of the Year award and was selected as the ASUN's nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year. The senior earned three of the six ASUN Pitcher of the Week awards from the Ospreys in 2025, along with Softball America's National Player of the Week on Feb. 25.
After winning the conference tournament, Kylah Berry joined Benning as ASUN All-Tournament selections with Benning being picked as Tournament MVP. Eight program records on the pitching side were either broken or shared throughout the 2025 season, which is highlighted by most team wins in D-I history (47) and the second all-time perfect game thrown by Benning. Berry also joined Benning through the ASUN postseason with two of the 10 lowest ERAs in the nation. Benning was also one home run away from achieving the first-ever season with 25 wins from the circle and 20 home runs from the plate.
In her first season as an assistant, she helped the team to a 35-19 overall record, as well as a 17-7 conference record, and a runner-up finish in the ASUN Championship tournament. She also assisted in developing five All-ASUN selections in 2024, including First Team & Second Team honoree Allison Benning as a two-way player, as well as Halle Arends as a Third Team All-ASUN pitcher.
While at Missouri, she helped the coaching staff to a 35-26 record with an appearance in the NCAA Regionals. Before her time with Tigers, Fiser was an All-American pitcher at Minnesota from 2017-21. She completed her career with a 1.70 ERA and a 98-35 record while striking out 953 batters over five seasons.
Fiser was recognized as the 2019 Big Ten Pitcher of the Year, while earning First Team All-American honors and being listed among USA Softball’s Top-25 Player of the Year List. She led Minnesota to its first Women’s College World Series in the NCAA era while pitching every inning of Regionals and Super Regionals.
She finished her collegiate career ranked third in appearances (166), innings pitched (859.1), career wins (98) and saves (10), while also being fourth in shutouts (27) and fifth in strikeouts (953).
After completing her collegiate career at Minnesota, Fiser was selected No. 5 overall in the Athletes Unlimited Softball draft and now currently plays for Smash it Sports Vipers in the Women's Professional Fastpitch League.
