Two-time conference champ, two-time regional champ and 2021 state champion...was selected First-Team All-State, First-Team All-Conference and Conference Pitcher of the Year in both her sophomore and junior seasons...biggest game moment was pitching 8-0 shutout allowing only five hits with 12 strikeouts and no walks in 2021 state championship game...pitched 92.1 innings with a 3.56 ERA and 70 strikeouts as a freshman...tossed 94.1 innings with a 2.67 ERA and 120 strikeouts as a sophomore...spun 144.1 innings with a 1.45 ERA and 204 strikeouts as a junior...pitched 117.1 innings with a 1.07 ERA and 170 strikeouts as a senior...made First-Team Academic All-State at Legend HS.

Born on May 5, 2005...daughter of Pete and Christina Ponich...has one sibling, Alyssa...made her high school's honor roll...played club ball for Colorado Stars Sakamoto...plans to major in elementary education...chose UNF because "when I stepped onto the campus, I just knew it was right. I love the environment, the campus, the people I met, and the coach. I instantly knew this was my new home."
