As a freshman, 2007-08: (Cross Country): Ran in five of the six meets…Finished 10th at the JU Short Course Duals (5k) on Aug. 31, with a time of 17:37… Best 8k finish of the season came at the FSU Invitational on Sept. 22, where he finished 53rd with a time of 29:19.08…Posted his best time (8k) at the Gator Invitational on Sept. 7, finishing 86th with a time of 28:34.10. (Indoor Track): Competed in the 3,000m at the ERAU Challenge on Feb. 2, where he finished eighth with a time of 9:40.20. (Outdoor Track): Competed in the 800m at the Seminole Invitational on April 12, finishing 18th with a time of 2:19.88…Best 1,500m finish came at the Seminole Invitational where he finished 27th with a time of 4:26.53.
High School: 2007 graduate of Choctawhatchee High School, where he ran for Henry Spillers ... named a Footlocker South Eastern first team senior in cross country ... named to the all-region first team his junior and senior seasons of cross country ... helped the Indians track team to county championships in 2005-07 ... finished sixth in the state in the two mile his senior season ... named both all-district and all-area first team his senior season of track.
