As a junior, 2008-09: (Cross Country): Competed in three of the Ospreys’ six meets…his best finish was in the Covered Bridge Open on Aug. 29 with a time of 27:16 in the 8k. (Indoor Track): Represented the Osprey’s distance medley relay team that finished second in the Clemson Tiger Invite on Jan. 9 … helped the 4x400-meter team at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, earning sixth place with a time of 3:36.42 (Outdoor Track): Recorded his best times in the 800m in the Seminole Twilight with a time of 1:58.39 and in the 1500m at the UNF Spring Break Open with a time of 4:05.47.
As a sophomore, 2007-08: (Cross Country): Ran in the Furman Invitational on Oct. 13, finishing 96th with a time of 29:30… (Indoor Track): Competed in the mile at the ERAU Challenge on Feb. 2, finishing in third place with a time of 4:30.74…Finished 49th in the mile (4:44.94) at the Tiger Invitational on Feb. 16.
As a freshman, 2006-07: (Cross Country): Ran in one of the six meets for the Ospreys... finished the FSU Invitational in 61st place with a time of 30:12.71. (Indoor Track): Competed in three meets for the Ospreys, including the Atlantic Sun Championships, participating in the 800m and mile... posted best 800m time and place at the Florida Intercollegiate on Jan. 13, crossing the finish line in 2:06.36, taking 19th place... finished 13th in the mile at the A-Sun Championships with a time of 4:43.03. (Outdoor Track): Ran in four meets, participating in the 800m once and the 1500m four times... best time in the 1500m came at the FSU Relays on March 29-31, finishing in 4:11.43 taking 12th place... competed in the 800m while at the FSU Invite on April 14, taking 12th place with a time of 2:17.08.
High School: Attended Lincoln Park Academy, where he ran for David Perry and Bob Hensley ... was part of the Greyhound team that won third place at the 2006 state cross country meet ... placed 26th at the 2006 state meet ... earned first team all-region and all-metro honors his senior year of cross country ... was a member of the district championship track team in 2005 and 2006 ... was a district champion and state qualifier as a member of the track team ... earned all-district, all-area, all-region and all-metro honors in track as a senior.
Personal: Born to Peggy and Chris Fulcher on Dec. 4, 1987... majoring in biology... favorite song is "1979" by the Smashing Pumkins... future goal is to be an ecologist and travel... biggest sports thrill was qualifying for the state meet in track.
