• Injured his shoulder against ETSU and had surgery to repair damage, missing the remainder of the season

• Tallied three blocks against Savannah State and ranked third on the team in blocks with 16
• Scored in double figures in first two collegiate games against Maryland and Tulsa — combining to shoot 4-for-11 from 3-point range — and eclipsed double figures six times

High School: Played junior and senior seasons at Lakeland (Fla.) Christian School for head coach Ray Deardorf, seeing time as a guard, forward and center for the Vikings ... earned second-team all-state honors as a senior after leading Lakeland Christian to a 22-7 record and a berth in the Class 2A regional finals ... averaged 20.4 points and 11.9 rebounds per game as a senior and scored 20 or more points 15 times during the year, including three efforts of 30 or more ... tied his career high with 40 points against Bayshore Christian on Dec. 16, also adding 19 rebounds ... shot 57 percent from the floor as a senior and 35 percent from 3-point range and finished his two-year career with 1,088 points, 609 rebounds and 154 blocked shots ... was runner-up at the regional round of the FHSAA "King of the Hill" 3-Point Showdown in March of his senior year, when he finished with eight 3-pointers made, narrowly missing a berth in the state finals, which were held during the 2007 state basketball tournament ... was also named to the All-Polk County squad in 2007 ... was an honorable mention all-state selection as a junior, when he averaged 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds, shooting 75 percent (FT) and 59 percent (FG) ... shot 78 percent from the free throw line and 51 percent from the floor in his two years at Lakeland, posting impressive career averages (20.1 ppg, 11.2 rpg) ... played freshman and sophomore seasons at Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy in Akron, Ohio, before his family relocated to Florida ... also played three seasons of high school tennis, earning all-state honors in 2005 when he finished second in the state in doubles.
