Earned three varsity letters at Newsome High School, with his most notable outing coming as a two-hitter against the reigning state champions, Steinbrenner.

A Principal's Honor Roll student. Also a member of the Student Government Association and National Honor Society at Newsome High School.
Son of Teri and Kevin Ohme.
Father, Kevin, was drafted by the Yankees in the 35th round of the 1990 June draft, but did not sign. Was drafted and signed by the Minnesota Twins in the 9th round of the 1993 amateur draft. An all-american for the Ospreys after leading the country with 13 wins and posting 105 strikeouts in 103 innings worked. His 1.63 career ERA ranks atop the UNF charts.
Mother, Teri, played volleyball at UNF
Has two sisters, Kate (16) and Caroline (12).
