2007 Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team

As a redshirt junior, 2008:
Led pitching staff in wins with six ... recorded five quality starts ... led team in innings pitched (68.2) ... tied for team lead with 11 starts ... batters hit just .236 against him, which was fourth-best in the A-Sun ... finished with the third-best ERA in the staff with a 4.48 mark ... led team with 62 strikeouts ... was tied for third on team with 18 appearances ... recorded at least one strikeout in all but three of his appearances ... had a scoreless innings pitched streak of 12 2/3 as a reliever ... recorded at least seven strikeouts in four starts ... allowed just one run on three hits while striking out seven in his 6.0 inning win over Florida Gulf Coast (3/1) ... struck out a career-high nine batters and allowed just five hits in 7.0 innings of work to pick up a win over Stetson (4/18) ... allowed a career-low two hits and struck out eight in 7.0 innings against Bethune-Cookman to notch a win (4/24) ... recorded a save after pitching the final 3.0 innings of UNF's 8-2 win over ETSU (3/29) ... wrote a periodical journal on CollegeBaseballInsider.com.

As a junior, 2007: Sat out season due to NCAA transfer rules and redshirted ... was UNF's radio color analyst for home games ... drafted in the 28th round of the MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels.

As a sophomore, 2006 (Tennessee): Served primarily as a midweek starter and a weekend middle reliever ... posted a 1-1 record with a 4.93 ERA in four starts ... recorded 52 strikeouts and 35 walks in 38.1 innings of action ... made his Tennessee debut during the Vols' Feb. 5 win at Florida Atlantic, working two full innings of relief ... his first start as a Vol came against Siena March 15, and he gave up four runs (one earned) on six hits with five walks and five Ks through 4 2/3 innings ... was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 26th round of the MLB draft in June.

As a freshman, 2005 (South Florida): Posted a 5-4 record for the Bulls as a freshman and ranked third on the team with 40 strikeouts ... member of the 2005 USF SAAC Committee and the USF Honors Program ... played summer ball with the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs of the Florida Collegiate Summer League ... helped lead Winter Park to the 2005 FCSL regular-season championship ... received the FCSL's Frank Viola Most Valuable Pitcher Award after going 4-0 in six starts with a 0.66 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 41 innings ... FCSL opponents hit just .142 against him as he led the league in ERA and opponents' batting average while ranking second in strikeouts ... rated by Baseball America as the FCSL's top prospect.

High School: Graduated in the top two percent of his class from Olympia High School in Orlando, Fla., and also attended Orlando's Lake Highland Preparatory School ... drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 27th round of the 2004 MLB Draft ... hit .402 for his career and tallied 315 strikeouts in 195 innings pitched ... three-time recipient of the team MVP award ... was twice named all-conference and all-county ... served as vice president of his senior class ... was a member of Quill & Scroll, National Honor Society, Beta Club, Varsity Club and Spanish Club ... was a two-time captain on the varsity football team ... was named as the Orlando Sentinel's Player of the Week three times during his career ... participated in the FACA All-Star game as a senior ... also played wide receiver in football, tallying 40 career receptions for 375 yards and three touchdowns.

Personal: Born July 5, 1985, in Orlando, Fla. ... son of Jeff and Teri Pryor ... has a younger brother, Tucker, who is a member of the UNF baseball team, and a sister, Tobi ... his father, Jeff, played minor league ball with the Angels organization, reaching Class-AAA ... his uncle, Greg, played 10 seasons of major league baseball as an infielder with the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals ... another uncle, Kevin, played Class-AA ball in the Philadelphia Phillies system ... Jeff, Greg and Kevin Pryor each earned All-America honors at Florida Southern ... serves as a color commentator and producer for webcasts of many different UNF sports ... earned his bachelor's degree in fall 2008 in journalism and political science ... currently pursuing master's in educational leadership.
