Appeared in 80 games over two seasons at Liberty...averaged .266 (54-for-203) and scored 34 runs over those seasons...hit four home runs and stole three bases during the 2021 season...also hit a grand slam in the Tennessee Regional Tournament...batted in 38 runs, slugged .355 and recorded a .358Â on-base percentage during her time in Lynchburg...was unanimously selected to the ASUN All-Conference Freshman Second Team in 2021.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played six years on varsity softball...hit eight combined home runs her freshman and sophomore seasons...helped earn a spot in the 5A state semifinals her junior year...named team MVP as a senior...also participated in volleyball and basketball.

Daughter of Bobby Channell and Christina Hedgecock...has five siblings, Kynzlee (10), Kayden (12), Tori (18), Bryson (19) and Rylin (20)...Tori and Rylin both play collegiate softball for Mercer and Arkansas respectively...step-father, Russ Hedgecock, played baseball at Florida Southern...born in Jacksonville, Florida...attended and graduated from Keystone Heights High School in 2019...plans to receive her executive master of health administration...born March 29th, 2001.
Senior - 2024
- Batting .246 (33-for-134) while starting all 54 games with 33 hits, 12 RBIs, 22 runs scored and two home runs.
- Recording an OPS of .699 with a .313 SLG% and a .386 OB%.
- Also notched 13 hits, five RBIs, nine runs scored and a home run in ASUN play.
- Have recorded eight multi-hit games, including a three-hit game against Kennesaw State Apr. 6, as well as against EKU in the ASUN Championship May 11.
- Maintained a season-high 12-game on-base streak during the season.
- Also has four multi-RBI games, including a three-RBI game against Ball State Feb. 10.
Junior - 2023
- Batted .200Â (21-for-105) while starting 46 of 47Â games played with 21 hits, 10 RBIs, 15 runs scored, five doubles and a home run.
- Recorded an OPS of .640Â with a .276Â SLG% and a .364Â OB%, along with 29 total bases.
- Started 19 games in ASUN play with eight hits, six RBIs and five runs scored.
- Had five multi-hit games on the season, including 3-for-4 performance with three RBIs against North Alabama Apr. 16.
- Also had multiple RBIs against FAU and Liberty.
- Notched two doubles with a run scored on opening day against IUPUI Feb. 10.
Sophomore - 2022
- Started 55 total games in 57 appearances and batted .252 (32-for-127), along with 32 hits, 23 RBI, 27 runs scored and three home runs overall.
- Batted .305 (18-for-59) in 24 starts during conference play with 18 hits, 16 RBI, 13 runs, and two home runs.
- Notched three multi-hit games in five matchups during UNF-JU Spring Break Challenge.
- Hit first home run as an Osprey at Jacksonville State in three-hit, two RBI game March 27.
- Recorded eight total multi-hit games, including a 2-for-3 game with an RBI, run scored, and a double against No. 3 Florida State March 30.
- Also had two three-hit games against Jacksonville and Jacksonville State combining for four RBI, three runs, and two home runs in those games.
- Went 6-for-8 with four RBI, five runs scored, and a home run combined in series at Jacksonville.
- Tied the single-game program D-I record for most walks drawn in a game with four against Kennesaw State April 15.
- Drew a team-high 34 walks on the year, which ranked third in the conference.
