2016: Listed on the Atlantic Sun Conference Academic Honor Roll for the second-straight season... Was the Ospreys primary lefty out of the bullpen... Logged 20 innings and sported a 2.25 ERA... Struck out 22 batters and only walked three... Gave up only two extra base hits in 20 innings... Tossed a career-high 4.1 innings of shutout baseball and struck out a career-best four in the Atlantic Sun Conference semifinals against FGCU on May 28... Went seven straight appearances without allowing a run from April 6 to May 20.

2015: Listed on the Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll... Appeared in three games, totaling just 1.1 innings pitched his first year as an Osprey... Struck out one batter in 0.1 innings against VMI on Feb. 14.

Prior to North Florida: Played at St. Johns River State College in Palatka, Fla. in 2013... Appeared in 30 games and logged nearly 60 innings in two seasons for the Vikings... Struck out 22 batters and finished his freshman season with a 3-0 record... Struck out 29 batters in 29 innings his sophomore season...  In 2013, SJRSC set a new school record with 38 wins and captured the First Mid-Florida Conference Championship for the program since 1977.

High School: Played his final three season of high school baseball at Trinity Christian Academy... Named to the 2012 Perfect Game All-Florida Region Honorable Mention team...  Won two, 2A State Championships (2010 & 2012)... A First Team All-State and First Team All-District honoree as a senior.

Personal: Son of David Moritz and Susan Ragan... A Business Management major.
