Biography
Beach Volleyball Bio2014 (junior): Had a standout first season… played in 28 matches, starting in 13… appeared in 105 sets… second on the team in kills (268) and kills per set (2.55)… hit .201 for the season… had 17 matches with at least 10 kills, including three with 15-or-more kills… had a pair of five-match streaks with double-digit kills... tallied a career-high 16 kills at Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 14)… hit over .300 five times… hit .455 in just two sets against Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 6), registering five kills off 11 total attack and no errors... also served three aces against Bethune-Cookman (Sept. 6)… recorded nine digs at Campbell (Sept. 13)… went up for 7.0 blocks at Stetson (Oct. 4)... named to the Jax Marriott Volleyball Classic All-Tournament Team. Prior to UNF: Attended State College of Florida for freshman and sophomore seasons… sophomore campaign was shortened due to injury… as a freshman, led State College of Florida in kills (332) and kills per set (3.16) and earned All-Region and All-District honors… selected as State College of Florida’s 2012 Team MVP. High School: Attended Widdifield Secondary School in North Bay, Ontario, Canada… 2013 Mort Fellman Award recipient, which is presented by the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame… helped Widdifield to four-straight NOSSA Championships… earned All-Tournament honors multiple times… selected as Team MVP in 2011 and 2012… also competed for the soccer and track and field teams, making it to NOSSA for both sports. Personal: Majoring in sociology… daughter of Shawn Alyman and Debbie Cole… has a sister, Caytlin, and two step-siblings, Curtis and Shawna.
