Biography
2013-14 (Senior): Concluded a standout Osprey career by being named All-Atlantic Sun First Team and UNF’s Female Athlete of the Year… two-time Atlantic Sun Player of the Week selection (Mar. 26 and Apr. 15)… tallied a 21-11 overall singles record, including 6-1 in conference play… went 14-11 in doubles competition with a 6-1 Atlantic Sun record… No. 1 singles player for UNF, compiling a 13-7 record at that position… strung together four-straight single wins on three separate occasions… had her first four-match winning streak at the beginning of the spring season (Jan. 20-Feb. 20)… started her second four-match winning streak with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Florida Gulf Coast’s Sarah Means (Mar. 21)… ended her singles career on a four-match winning streak… played most doubles matches at No. 1 (10-4), but also saw time in the No. 2 spot (4-2)… recorded a pair of four-match winning streaks with partner Rebeca Pereira… first streak included two tie-break wins with one being an 8-7 (5) decision over Florida Gulf Coast’s Elizabeth Means and Sarah Means (Mar. 21) and the second coming as an 8-7 (11-9) victory against ETSU’s Ana Gerbasi and Lyn Yee Choo (Mar. 28)… finished the season with a second four-match winning streak… Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll selection.
2012-13 (Junior): Named First-Team All-Atlantic Sun… also named All-Academic Atlantic Sun… and named Atlantic Sun All-Tournament Team… finished the season with a 23-7 overall singles record, going 14-3 in dual matches and 5-1 in conferences matches… played predominately at the No. 2 spot (14-2)… took home top honors in the Flight 2 at the FGCU Invite… won four out of the final five completed matches… helped claim the second singles point in the A-Sun Championship finals against ETSU with a win over Lyn Yee Choo 7-6(7-5), 6-3 (Apr. 21)… posted a 18-8 overall record at doubles, including 14-3 in dual matches and 5-1 in conference doubles play… when teamed up with Pereira went 11-0 in dual matches and 5-0 in conference doubles play… defeated No. 61 College of Charleston’s Christin Newman and Brooke McAmis 9-8 (Mar. 5)… helped secure the doubles point in the Atlantic Sun Tournament Championship match defeating ETSU’s Salma Dahbi and Antonia Kolovou 8-6 (Apr. 21)… finished the season with a five-match doubles winning streak.
2011-12 (Sophomore): Named Second-Team All-Atlantic Sun for doubles with Rebeca Pereira… also named to the Atlantic Sun’s All-Tournament Team… clinched the match point in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament Championship against ETSU, holding on for a 6-4, 4-6, 6-1 win against Diana Navrostska at No. 5 singles and giving UNF its second A-Sun Championship… totaled a 20-12 overall singles record, going 13-7 in dual matches and 8-1 in conference matches… split time at No. 4 (6-3) and No. 5 (4-4) singles, but also played on the No. 3 (2-0) and No. 6 (1-0) courts… began the spring by winning the Flight 5 single championship at the FGCU Invitational (Jan. 14-16)… went 9-1 in final 10 matches of the regular season… had a six-match winning streak at singles that started with a 6-1, 6-1 No. 4 win against USC Upstate’s Hannah Al-Sakati (Mar. 16)… posted a 18-8 overall record at doubles, including 15-5 in duals… dominated the No. 2 doubles court with Pereira, combining for a 13-4 record on that court... went a perfect 9-0 in conference matches with Pereira… recording a 10-match doubles winning streak with Pereira that began with a 8-5 win against USC Upstate’s Julie Bell and Al-Sakati (Mar. 16) and included 8-0 shutouts of Lipscomb’s Danielle Hansen and Elizabeth Keevil (Apr. 7) and Mercer’s Amanda Bertani and Melanie Schumilas (Apr. 14)… helped UNF secure the doubles point in the Atlantic Sun Tournament Championship match, defeating ETSU’s Karina Kedzo and Navrostska (Apr. 22) 8-1... Atlantic Sun Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11 (Freshman): Named Second-Team All-Atlantic Sun for singles and selected to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team… in singles, went 16-5 overall and 9-1 in the conference… played mainly at No. 5 singles, posting a 13-3 mark… also played at No. 4 singles and finished 3-2… won 12 of first 13 matches, including 11-straight from Feb. 20-Mar. 26… won all 11 of those matches in two sets, including a straight set sweep of Lipscomb’s Carlina Jow… went 13-8 overall in doubles… tallied a 10-6 mark with Aline Berkenbrock and 3-2 with Victoria Krook… played at No. 1 (9-6) and No. 2 (1-0) doubles with Berkenbrock… won five-straight matches… streak began with an 8-6 win with Krook over UAB’s Jenny Cape and Giorgia Romeo on Feb. 20 and ended with an 8-1 victory with Berkenbrock over USC Upstate’s Karen Martinez and Talia Rojas at No. 1 doubles… claimed three singles wins during the fall in the round-robin D1 singles flights at the 2010 UNF Hampton Inn 9A & Baymeadows Fall Invitational.
Other Experience: Reached the German masters in 2009 and was ranked No. 116 in Germany in the spring of 2010.
Personal: Majoring in communication… daughter of Rolf and Monika Weymar… has five sisters and a brother.
