As a freshman, 2007-08
• Started 23 of 27 games for the Ospreys, averaging 6.4 points and a 4.4 rebounds a contest
• Suffered a gash under his eye while taking a charge against Florida in the second half, which resulted in a concussion, forcing him to miss the Charleston Southern and Savannah State games
• Scored a career-high 20 points on 10-of-13 shooting in the team’s second meeting with Kennesaw State.
• Posted 12 points against Florida on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor.
• Matched those 12 points against 22nd-ranked Miami and again against Gardner-Webb.
• Tallied eight double-figure scoring performances — including three in his last six contests
• After tallying just 18 field goal attempts during the team’s first six conference games (11 total points), Jones was 38-of-79 in his last 10 games (89 points).
• Ranked ninth in the A-Sun in blocked shots (0.88 per game)
High School
• Played four seasons at Liberty Technical Magnet High School in Jackson, Tenn., for head coaches Dexter Williams and Terrell Green, and graduated with honors
• Helped lead squad to back-to-back Class 2A state titles his junior and senior seasons
• Played on a team that featured three first-team all-state selections
• All five Liberty starters were named to the state all-tournament team in March — a first in Tennessee high school history
• One of seven Liberty teammates to continue his career in college, including three others at the Division I level
• Jones was a solid part of the Liberty machine, which was 71-6 over his last two seasons and won 38 consecutive games against Volunteer State opponents at one point
• Liberty was ranked No. 13 nationally by RISE/SI.com his senior season
• Averaged 10.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game his senior season while shooting 63 percent from the floor
• Took 42 charges as a senior and finished his career as the school's all-time leader in blocked shots
