Men's Golf Stands Tied For First Through Day 1 At Florida Atlantic Invitational

JUPITER, Fla. – Two Ospreys stand in the top-six on the individual leaderboard through the first two rounds for University of North Florida Men's Golf at the Florida Atlantic Invitational, hosted by FAU, at The Bear's club on Monday.
North Florida sits tied for first at 18-under 704 (352-352) on the team leaderboard through the first 36 holes.
Freshman Danny Wehle carded a 9-under 135 (68-67) to stand tied for second through the first two rounds. Wehle sits tied for sixth in birdies with 10 and was tied for the lowest average score on Par 5s with 4.13. He finished tied for the second-lowest average score on Par 4s with 3.90.
Freshman Easton Oliva carded a 5-under 139 (70-69) to stand tied for sixth. Oliva sits tied for second in the field in birdies with 11 and also tied the second-lowest average score on Par 4s with 3.90.
Sophomore Luke Balaskiewicz notched six birdies, four of which came in Round 1, to place tied for 17th at 3-under 141 (70-71). Balaskiewicz sits tied for ninth in the field with 25 pars.
Senior Danny Erickson's season debut featured eight birdies and 19 pars. Erickson carded a 1-under 143 (71-72) to stand tied for 24th on the leaderboard. He sits tied for sixth with a 4.25 average score on Par 5s.
