
Strouble's Title Highlights Three Podium Finishes On Day One Of ASUN Outdoor Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Freshman Jayvin Strouble claimed the Men's High Jump title to highlight three podium finishes on Day One of the 2026 ASUN Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium on Thursday.Â

Strouble cleared a personal-best height of 2.09m (6-10.25) to claim the title and earn First Team All-ASUN honors. Freshman Leah Hunnius notched a personal-best bar of 3.58m (11-9) to podium third and earn Third Team All-ASUN honors in the Women's Pole Vault.

Sophomore Alejandro Romagosa clocked a personal-best time of 30:45.46, over 20 seconds better than his previous best time, to podium third and earn Third Team All-ASUN honors in the Men's 10000m.

In the team standings, North Florida stands in second on the Men's side with 35 points, and third on the Women's side with 17 points. 11 Ospreys scored on the initial day of competition.Â

Overall, 14 Ospreys posted qualifying times on the track in the Prelims to advance to the Finals.Â
