JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida Baseball won its sixth-straight series to open ASUN Conference play with a win in Game 2 of its series against Stetson, 2-1, at Harmon Stadium on Saturday.Â
It marks the first time North Florida has won six straight series to start ASUN play since 2013. It marks the first time UNF has won six straight series in ASUN play in a single season since 2015. Both of those teams finished their seasons with 40+ wins.
North Florida's 14-3 start to ASUN play marks its best start to conference action in program history. With the win, North Florida remains in first place in the ASUN Conference Graphite Division.Â

Stetson opened the scoring with one run in the top of the first inning.
Redshirt junior utility player Boone Hosey tied the game in the bottom of the fourth inning with an RBI single through the right side.
White's triple in the bottom of the sixth frame set up redshirt junior Jackson Schrafft's go-ahead RBI single to center field put North Florida ahead, 2-1. Schrafft's RBI helped bring the score to its eventual final margin.
