TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - North Florida Baseball fell in its final game of its road series at Alabama, 12-2, at Sewell-Thomas Stadium on Sunday.

Sophomore utility player Seth Alford notched his second home run of the season with a solo shot to left field in the top of the third inning. Alford's homer cut North Florida's deficit to 2-1 after Alabama posted one run in each of its first two frames. It marked the 11th home run of Alford's career.

Alabama responded with 10 unanswered runs its next four at bats.

Senior catcher Eric Fouraker drove in North Florida's second run of the game on a hard hit ground ball to second base in the top of the seventh frame.

Junior infielder Mathew Farner went 1-3 against the Crimson Tide on Sunday. It marked Farner's 14th game this season notching at least one hit. He improved his team-high hit total this season to 21.

Redshirt junior utility player Boone Hosey added a 1-3 outing as well, respectively. Hosey tallied a hit in all three of North Florida's games at Alabama. He now has one hit or more in 11 games this season, bringing his hit total to 15 in 2026.

Redshirt sophomore outfielder Sean Benjamin and redshirt junior infielder Connor Witherington rounded out North Florida's offensive production with a pair of singles.
