Murray And Murphy Named ASUN Pair Of The Week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 16-ranked North Florida Beach Volleyball senior pair and 2026 Preseason All-ASUN selections Presley Murray and Mackenzie Murphy earned the first ASUN Pair of the Week honors of the season on Tuesday.

Murray and Murphy posted a 3-1 record for North Florida at Jacksonville's Dolphin Duals on Feb. 20-21. The pair went 2-1 at the one line and 1-0 at the two line. Murray and Murphy opened the season with a 21-17, 21-19 win over RV South Carolina. Murray and Murphy clinched the match point against RV FGCU after responding to a first-set loss with a 15-21, 21-16, 15-9 win at the one line. The pair helped North Florida earn its first sweep of the season and eighth-straight sweep against River City Rumble rival Jacksonville with a 21-17, 21-14 win at the two line.

North Florida went 3-1 in the tournament with all three wins against ASUN opponents No. 14 Stetson, RV FGCU and host Jacksonville.

North Florida returns to the sand when it travels to Tallahassee, Fla. for Florida State's Seminole Beach Bash on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28.
