
Humphries Highlights 2026 ASUN Beach Volleyball Preseason Honors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference announced Wednesday that North Florida Beach Volleyball garnered three 2026 Preseason All-ASUN Team selections, headlined by ASUN Preseason Player of the Year junior Cameron Humphries.Â

In addition to Humphries, senior Presley Murray and senior Mackenzie Murphy were named to the 2026 Preseason All-ASUN Team. Humphries and Murray were unanimous selections. It marks the second-straight season that North Florida has notched at least three selections.Â

A 2025 First Team All-ASUN selection, Humphries posted a 25-10 record last season. She has posted 22 or more wins in each of her two seasons to extend her career total to 47 wins. Humphries elevated her position throughout the season and played 14 matches at the three line, a match at the two line and finished at the one line in the final eight matches. She was also named a 2025 Preseason All-ASUN, 2024 Second Team All-ASUN, 2024 ASUN All-Tournament, 2024 ASUN All-Freshman and 2024 AVCA Top Flight Pair 4 selection in her career.

Murray and Murphy were named a 2025 AVCA Top Flight Pair 1 selection after the pair combined for a 21-8 record at the one line. Murray has been named a 2025 Preseason All-ASUN, 2024 Second Team All-ASUN, 2024 Preseason All-ASUN, 2023 AVCA Top Flight Pair 2, 2023 First Team All-ASUN and 2023 ASUN All-Freshman honoree in the career.

North Florida will battle South Carolina at 8 a.m. ET and No. 14 Stetson at 2 p.m. ET on Friday before it faces Florida Gulf Coast at 12 p.m. ET and host Jacksonville at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday.Â
