Natoli Earns ASUN Goalkeeper of the Week

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida Men's Soccer redshirt senior goalkeeper Luciano Natoli earned Atlantic Sun Conference Goalkeeper of the Week honors on Monday.

It marked the second time this season that Natoli collected the honors after he was named to the distinction on Aug. 25.

"Luciano [Natoli] is putting in some consistent performances in the latest stretch," Head Coach Jamie Davies said. "He's had some big moments to help us win key matches and he's been able to learn and grow in the process. I'm excited to watch him continue to grow this season."

Natoli notched a pair of shutouts and totaled eight saves in North Florida's two wins last week at South Carolina, 2-0, on Sept. 16 and at Mercer, 1-0, on Sept. 20. He played the full time in each match last week and in every match this season. He has posted four shutouts this season and eight in his career. He has recorded three or more saves in six of eight matches.

North Florida takes its four-match win streak into a Senior Night match against Trinity College of Jacksonville on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at Hodges Stadium.
