
Men's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida Men's Soccer announced its 2026 schedule on Thursday.

"We're really excited about the schedule that we have built for the upcoming season," Head Coach Marlon Montanella said. "We'll be competing against top programs from different conferences, who will each have a distinct tactical approach that will challenge our program. This schedule will help prepare our program to adapt tactically to a variety of opposition styles and scenarios. We believe this type of schedule is exactly what positions our program for success within the ASUN Conference and NCAA Tournament. It will provide our players with incredible experiences to compete in high-level environments, and help them continue to grow."

The 18-match schedule features an even-split between nine home and away matches in Montanella's first season at the helm. North Florida will face seven ASUN Conference opponents, three of which will be at home.Â

North Florida returns to the pitch off back-to-back ASUN Championship titles and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2024 and 2025. North Florida faces three other 2025 NCAA Tournament teams in Clemson, Florida Atlantic and Saint Louis.Â

The Ospreys hosts Eastern Florida on Aug. 8 and travels to UCF on Aug. 14 for a pair of preseason exhibitions.Â

North Florida opens its season with a pair of matches at Hodges Stadium against South Carolina on Aug. 20 and Mercer on Aug. 23. The Ospreys posted a 6-0-1 record at home in 2025.

North Florida remains in-state for three-straight road matches at Florida Atlantic on Aug. 27, South Florida on Sept. 1 and crosstown rival Jacksonville on Sept. 5.Â

North Florida returns home to face Coastal Carolina on Sept. 9 before back-to-back road matches at Florida Gulf Coast on Sept. 12 and Clemson on Sept. 15.Â

North Florida has its longest homestand of the season when it hosts West Florida on Sept. 19, Trinity College of Jacksonville for Senior Night on Sept. 22, Stetson on Sept. 26 and Central Arkansas on Oct. 3.
