MILWAUKEE, Wis. – In a back-and-forth match with three goals scored in the final six minutes, North Florida fell to Marquette, 2-1, at Valley Fields on Sunday.
North Florida is now 1-1 on the season.

Luciano Natoli tied a career-high six saves and extended his season total to 10 through the initial two matches. 19 Ospreys logged action and freshman midfielder
Omar Trto made his collegiate debut with 28 minutes in the second half. Natoli, senior defender

Redshirt senior forward
Jaxon Reinhardt netted his second goal of the season in the 84th minute off an assist from junior defender
Alfie Mattocks. Reinhardt has now scored in each of the first two matches and seven times in his career. Reinhardt led the team for the second-straight match with two shots, both of which were on goal.
Marquette added goals in the 85th and 90th minute for the eventual final margin.
North Florida heads to the west coast to battle fellow 2024 NCAA Tournament participant UC Santa Barbara on Thursday, Aug. 28 at Harder Stadium at 10 p.m. ET.
