Duff Earns Third Team, Erickson All-Freshman in ASUN Postseason Honors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's golf brought in a pair of Atlantic Sun postseason awards highlighted with redshirt senior Jason Duff taking Third Team All-ASUN honors, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Duff was the lone Osprey to make an ASUN All-Conference Team in his fourth and final season with the program. Danny Erickson was also recognized as an ASUN All-Freshman Team selection after a stellar year in his debut collegiate season in Jacksonville.

The Ospreys continue their streak of having an All-ASUN selection every season since joining the ASUN Conference in 2006. It's the 20 consecutive season with UNF garnering an all-conference selection with Duff's distinction being the first Third-Team honoree in program history.

UNF has now totaled 43 all-conference selections and 22 all-freshman selections in program history. Erickson extends the streak of 10 straight seasons that an Osprey has made the ASUN All-Freshmen Team with Duff and Justin Ross being current players that were previous selections.

Jason Duff - ASUN Third Team All-Conference

Played in all 11 events this year with a scoring average of 72.34 per round.
Led the team in tournaments under par with four total in 11 events played.
Carded eight rounds under par in 32 rounds played.
Earned a team-high four top-25 finishes with a top-10 finish as the runner-up at the World Golf Village Collegiate scoring 1-under 143 (70-73).
Also placed 13th overall at the ASUN Championship scoring 4-under 212 (72-68-72).
Lowest round of the season was 5-under 67 (3rd Rd, Puerto Rico Classic).
Placed as the top Osprey in five of 11 events, including seven finishes in the top-two for the team.
Led the team with 30-for-32 (93.8%) of competitive rounds that were counted towards the team score.
Helped the Ospreys to a team tournament win at the World Golf Village Collegiate in Saint Augustine.

Danny Erickson - ASUN All-Freshman Team

Played in all 11 events this year with a scoring average of 73.53 per round.
Second Osprey to card double-digit rounds under par with 10 total in 32 rounds played.
Also recorded a pair of tournaments under par in 11 events played.
Earned a team-high four top-25 finishes highlighted by him leading the way at the ASUN Championship with a career-best 13th overall placement scoring 4-under 212 (71-71-70).
Lowest round of the season was 5-under 66 (1st Rd, Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate)
Placed as a top-two Osprey in five of 11 events, including two top finishes in the fall.
Totaled 27-for-32 (84.4%) of competitive rounds that were counted towards the team score.
Helped the Ospreys to a team tournament win at the World Golf Village Collegiate in Saint Augustine.
