Softball Championship Field Set, Ospreys Earn No. 1 Seed

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball has officially earned the top seed with a triple bye into the 2025 ASUN Softball Championship on Sunday afternoon. The Ospreys finished the season with a 42-13 overall record and a 22-2 mark in conference play.

All games will be hosted at Choccolocco Park spanning from May 6-10 in Oxford, Ala. The first two rounds will be single elimination for the fifth through 10th seeds, while the double elimination starts on Wednesday, May 7, for the top four seeds.

The Ospreys will compete in their first game of the tournament on Thursday, May 8, at 12:30 p.m. CT, facing the winner of game six. UNF will have No. 4 Stetson, No. 5 Austin Peay, No. 8 Jacksonville and No. 9 North Alabama on their side of the winner's bracket.

North Florida is looking to clinch its first-ever conference tournament title in program history, as well as its third championship game appearance in four seasons. The title game will be played on Saturday, May 10, set for 1 p.m. CT.
