
Kolbe's Meet Record Closes Out 2025 ASUN Outdoor Track And Field Championships

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Senior Smilla Kolbe surpassed the conference meet record in the women's 800m with a gold-medal time of 2:00.33 on day three of the 2025 ASUN Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Visit Jax Track in Hodges Stadium on Saturday.Â

North Florida placed third in the men's team standings with 130 points. Saturday was also highlighted by title times in each respective 400m hurdles from senior Celine D'Anna with a time of 1:00.08 and sophomore Rey Hernandez at 52.66. Twelve other Ospreys earned podium finishes on the final day of competition.Â

North Florida earned a combined 18 medals with five gold, five silver and eight bronze finishes over the three-day meet.Â

Qualifying student-athletes will compete at the 2025 NCAA Track and Field East Region First Round at Visit Jax Track in Hodges Stadium on May 28-31. The Ospreys hosted the NCAA East Region First Round in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2023.Â
