ORLANDO. Fla. – North Florida baseball faltered in its midweek game to UCF, 9-3, at John Euliano Park on Tuesday evening.
The Knights plated two runs in the first inning, three runs in the third and two more in the fourth to earn a 7-0 lead. However, the Ospreys were able to muster some momentum in the middle innings.

Connor Moore drove in the Ospreys' first run with a sacrifice fly to center field, scoring freshman
Dylan Fatovich who reached on a walk. In the ensuing at bat, junior
Santiago Ordonez sent an RBI single to left field cutting UNF's deficit to 7-2.
UNF plated its final run in the sixth frame when redshirt sophomore
Nick Monile roped a base hit up the middle, scoring senior
Drew Leinenbach who doubled down the right field line. Nevertheless, UCF went on to score one more run in the sixth and the eighth to hold off the Ospreys down the stretch.
