The Ospreys were their best in their steeplechase season debuts with Annika Buser and Gavin O'Brien leading their respective squads in the top three. Jada Williams and Melissa Bentayeb joined Buser in the top six, while Ilias El Khattabi and William Montanye placed in the top 10 alongside O'Brien.

"The 4x100 men were outstanding breaking the school record and running a quality time. Both relays did a great job passing the baton, which is critical for a successful relay. It's great to see us having competitive sprint relays. Both men and women high jumpers opened up their season with some nice jumps. Consistently clearing bars is becoming the norm for this group. They do a great job of providing a solid group for the track team. They are always competitive. The 400m was a solid event today, as we had a number of good openers. They will be good individually and in the 4x400m as the season progresses. The 2000m steeple was a good warm up for the anticipated 3000m distance. We had some great water jumps and hurdling. Gavin [O'Brien] and Annika [Buser] both did a great job respectively."
