No. 18 Beach Volleyball Dominates At Dolphin Duals

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – No. 18 North Florida beach volleyball concluded its trip across town this weekend with four decisive wins at the Dolphins Duals at the Payne Sand Volleyball Courts.

The Ospreys secured wins on 17 of the 20 courts over the four matches – 16 of which came in straight sets.

North Florida opened action on Saturday when it rallied back to take the final two courts in a 3-2 win over RV South Carolina. UNF then proceeded to earn its initial sweep of the season, 5-0, over South Florida. North Florida returned to the sand on Sunday to make swift work of UNC Wilmington, 4-1, and crosstown rival host Jacksonville, 5-0.

The junior duo of Presley Murray and Mackenzie Murphy handled all four of the top opponent pairings, three of which came in straight sets.

North Florida remains home to host Chattanooga, Jacksonville, Mercer and Saint Leo for the DUUUVAL Duals on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 28-March 1 at The Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex.
