
Women's Golf Inks Abby Vernier To 2026 Signing Class

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's golf has landed incoming freshman Abby Vernier as its first officially addition to the 2026 signing class, as announced by Director of Golf Scott Schroeder on Thursday afternoon.
"Abby [Vernier] is a really talented and competitive golfer," Schroeder stated. "It will be great to get her around some good players to see how fast she can grow as a player. She will have a chance to play from day one, which will make the entire roster more competitive."
Vernier comes in from the Florida Panhandle as a stellar player at West Florida High School of Advanced Technology. She was named PNJ Girls Golfer of the Year in 2024 and has qualified for the FHSAA Class 2A State Championship in both 2023 and 2024 with top-15 placements in each tournament.

I can see myself growing as a golfer and person at UNF!"
