Track and Field Schedule Unveiled For 2025 Season

Visit Jax Track To Host Four Meets, Including ASUN Outdoor Championship & NCAA East Region First Round
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida track and field head coach Jeff Pigg released the Ospreys' 2025 indoor and outdoor meet schedules on Monday.
The Ospreys will take part in a total of 11 regular season meets, which includes a pair at Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium with the River City Relays from March 7-8, and the East Coast Relays from May 2-3.
Hodges Stadium will host a pair of postseason meets starting with the ASUN Outdoor Championship from May 15-17, prior to the 2025 NCAA East Region First Round from May 28-31. Hodges Stadium has hosted the ASUN Outdoor Championships in 15 of the past 16 seasons and previously hosted the NCAA East Region First Round Championship in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2023.
The Ospreys' indoor schedule consists of three meets in Gainesville, Fla., prior to the start of postseason action. North Florida will compete in the Jimmy Carnes Invitational on Jan. 17, the RADD Sports College Invitational on Jan. 24-25, and the Celebration Pointe Classic on Feb. 7, all hosted inside Alachua County Sports & Events Center. The slate marks the Ospreys' return to RADD Sports College Invitational and the Celebration Pointe Classic for a third straight season.
The 2025 ASUN Indoor Championship will be hosted from Feb. 27-28, inside the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Ky. The NCAA Indoor Championships will be held from March 14-15 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Va.
The outdoor schedule opens at home with the River City Relays from Mar. 7-8, before the Ospreys travel to the Black and Gold Invitational on March 21-22, at the UCF Track and Field Complex in Orlando, Fla. UNF heads to the Raleigh Relays shortly after from March 27-29 at Paul Derr Track and Field Facility in Raleigh, N.C.
North Florida will compete on multiple fronts with a pair of split-squad weekends in April, starting with the Florida Relays at James G. Pressly Stadium at Percy Beard Track, as well as the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic at the ERAU Soccer and Track Complex in Daytona Beach, Fla., from Apr. 4-5.
The Ospreys will send another contingent to the Wake Forest Invitational at Kenter Track in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Apr. 18, and the Georgia Tech Invitational at the George C. Griffin Track & Field Facility in Atlanta, Ga., from Apr. 18-19. The Ospreys will host the East Coast Relays to close out the outdoor regular season from May 2-3.
Following the 2025 ASUN Outdoor Championship and the 2025 NCAA East Region First Round Championship later in the month of May, student-athletes will advance to the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Jun. 11-14 at the historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
Qualifying student-athletes will compete at the USATF U-20 Outdoor Championships from June 19-22 and the USATF Outdoor Championships from Jul. 31- Aug. 3, both hosted at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
